Laura Park joined Elmore Public Relations in October 2016 as an Account Manager. She oversees accounts including Brookfield Properties, Silver Eagle Distributors, Ronald McDonald House Houston, and re:MIND.
A seasoned public relations professional with years of agency and in-house experience, Laura leads clients’ media relations and strategic communications efforts, promoting milestones and positioning them as industry thought leaders. She has earned notable media placements for her clients, including an A1 story in the Houston Chronicle for the unveiling of Brookfield Properties’ The Acre. At the 2018 PRSA Houston Excalibur Awards, Elmore PR was honored by the Public Relations Society of America with a Gold Excalibur Award in the Marketing Business-to-Business category for Brookfield’s DesignHive, and with a Silver Excalibur Award in the Marketing Consumer Products & Services category for Brookfield’s Reimagining of Allen Center.
Laura has prior experience leading event marketing efforts and marketing and branding initiatives, including logo design, developing branding guidelines, creation of external marketing materials, and website development. Her creative eye and leadership style, paired with her public relations expertise, makes her an invaluable asset to our team and clients.
Laura is a graduate of the University of Houston. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Global Business, and served as the president of the university’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. In her free time, Laura finds joy in exercising her creativity through modern calligraphy and oil painting.
