Norma Diaz joined the Elmore Public Relations team in July 2015 as an intern. Since then, she has risen through the ranks, now serving as an Account Manager. Throughout her time at Elmore PR, Norma has supported accounts including Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Discovery Green, Career and Recovery Resources and Midway.
Currently, Norma provides her public relations expertise to a breadth of clients including Silver Eagle Distributors, Houston Botanic Garden, Trees For Houston, the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market, and The Periwinkle Foundation. Her flexibility and tenacity allow her to succeed in supporting such a varied and exciting client load.
Norma’s perceptibility earns her the trust of clients, colleagues, and reporters. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of Houston’s ever-changing media market, garnering impressive print, TV, radio, and online news placements. Additionally, Norma is uniquely skilled at creative and strategic planning. She has developed and executed notable social media influencer events for clients, including Midway’s GreenStreet.
Norma was integral in supporting Buffalo Bayou Park’s Cistern debut, which earned Elmore PR the 2017 PRSA Houston Grand Excalibur Award.
Norma is a graduate of the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Around the office, Norma is well-known for her quick wit and killer one-liners. Outside of the office, Norma enjoys spending time with her loved ones and exploring Houston’s local coffee scene.
