Hi, folks! My name is Nataly Torres and I am one of the new assistant account managers at Elmore Public Relations. I joined Elmore PR in April and so far, it’s been nothing short of amazing. From the get go, everyone has been so kind and welcoming, making my transition seamless. Having the opportunity to work with clients that are positively impacting the City of Houston, like Discovery Green, Career and Recovery Resources and the High School for the Visual and Performing Arts, is absolutely exciting and an honor.
Here’s a little Q&A for you to get to know me better:
How many total years have you been working in PR?
I’ve had the pleasure of working in the public relations industry for almost two years. My portfolio of work includes: nonprofit, energy, restaurants, beauty and personal care, technology and interior design.
What’s your secret weapon in the business environment?
Kindness, good listening skills and a “yes, and” attitude! Developing meaningful relationships is important (both in work and life) and I think these traits allow you to do that.
What technology or app you are addicted to?
I’m obsessed with Instagram and Twitter! Instagram allows me to keep up with my favorite lifestyle and design profiles and I can get the latest breaking news from Twitter. Give me a cup of coffee and I can scroll through those all day long.
What are your guilty pleasures?
French fries and a good glass of red wine. Yum!
If you had $1 million, what would you do with the money?
I would definitely buy a few acres of land and adopt a bunch of senior pups. I’d have my own dog zoo and let them roam wild and free.
