I often think how truly fortunate I am to work with so many extraordinary people. In 2015, I first heard about The Way Home from Bob Eury of Central Houston, and soon realized that many people I know and respect are intimately involved! Ann Stern of the Houston Endowment, Kimberly Sterling of Sterling and Associates, Jennifer Evans of JL Evans Communications, Thao Costis of SEARCH… the list could go on. When I first heard the goal of eradicating homelessness I thought they had chosen a poor tag-line for an unachievable outcome. In fact, I remember chiding Bob Eury about whether this goal might be unrealistic. The result – I found myself reading about The Way Home and the progress already being made. This story by MSNBC moved me deeply. I hope you will take a moment to watch the video and visit the website. I hope someday Houston is as well known for this campaign as it is for having great arts, food and culture!
