SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Melissa Fox has played an essential role since she joined the Elmore team in November 2022. As a senior communications specialist, Melissa provides specialized digital content, social media, and influencer strategy as well as execution for multiple clients, including Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market, Brookfield Properties, and Literacy Now.

Melissa is passionate about connecting brands with their followers, one click at a time, through engaging storytelling and content development. She particularly loves diving deep into the data and has expertise in building analytics-driven digital strategies and execution to yield growth in engagement and campaign performance.

Prior to joining Elmore, Melissa led strategic digital marketing initiatives, as well as created and implemented innovative social media campaigns that told the story in a unique “thumb-stopping” way for several notable nonprofits throughout Houston, including Houston Habitat for Humanity, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Greater Houston Partnership, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in English at Iowa State University and her Master of Arts in Communications, with an emphasis in Digital Media at Southern New Hampshire University.

When she is not on social media, Melissa enjoys reading, photography, kayaking, and seeing the world with her husband and two daughters.
