What item(s) do you collect? When I travel, and when friends and family travel, I ask them to bring me a rock from wherever they are in the world. Nothing big or heavy, just reach down on the ground and pick up a rock that you find appealing. I have a beautiful hammered copper tray for holding the rocks, and people are welcome to arrange, stack, sort and explore the rocks in whatever way they wish. Stacking is really popular, and the stacks reminds me of cairns which are part of many cultures around the world. I have rocks from Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Jerusalem, London, dozens of places in North America. Wish list includes Africa, China, Japan…
What’s your weapon in the business environment? Hiring the absolute best people I can find.
What are your guilty pleasures? Any nut dipped in dark chocolate.
What technology or app are you addicted to? I love Snapchat. My daughter is very funny on Snapchat, and I like that you can capture the highlights of a day, enjoy them, and then they disappear.
What’s a surprising fact or anecdote? I often suffer from what I call “Filterless Friday,” an unofficial syndrome which can be quite fun. If we work together, you will notice.
