Delicia Harvey
Delicia Harvey joined Elmore in July 2021 as a senior communications strategist and has been using her experience and unique skill set to support clients such as Houston Grand Opera, Kinder Foundation, Brookfield Properties, the John Fontaine Jr. Charity, and the Harris County Flood Control District. In 2023, Delicia expanded her role with Elmore to include business development to support Elmore’s growth.
During Delicia’s tenure at Elmore, she has earned PRSA Houston awards for clients Houston Grand Opera and Brookfield Properties.
Delicia brings more than 20 years of public relations and communications experience to Elmore. Prior to joining the Elmore team, Delicia was co-owner of Carrithers Studio LLC, where she served as executive producer on the company’s film projects including the successful documentary Houston Ballet: Breaking Boundaries and multiple projects for Houston nonprofits including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Menil Collection, and many others. Before that, Delicia was executive director of Aurora Picture Show, Houston’s non-profit microcinema that presents artist-made, non-commercial film and video, and served as public relations manager for Houston’s Alley Theatre for seven years.
She has an MA in Public Communications from Fordham University and a BA from University of California, San Diego. She has also served on panels or juries for the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture, the South by Southwest Film Festival, and the American Association of Museums Conference, among others.
In her free time, Delicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking in the many cultural offerings across Houston, and serving on the Board of the Houston Cinema Arts Society.
