Ava McCall
Ava joined Elmore as a communications strategist in August 2025. Driven by collaboration and effective communication, she helps her clients excel by providing creative earned media opportunities and implementing thoughtful, strategic communications plans.
Ava primarily supports the Harris County Flood Control District in her role at Elmore, leveraging her expertise in public relations and affairs, alongside her background in flood infrastructure communications.
Prior to joining Elmore, Ava worked in New Orleans with clients across a variety of industries, including national corporations such as Walmart, beloved local institutions like New Orleans City Park and Galatoire’s Restaurant, and in flood control with the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West.
Born and raised in Colorado, Ava received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and Political Science from Colorado State University with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Outside of work, Ava likes to cook, practice yoga, and spend time with her partner, J.R., and cat, Honeybun.
