SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST

Janice Evans-Davis has served as a senior consultant with Elmore since the spring of 2025, assisting with media relations and crisis communications for the Houston Housing Authority. She brings extensive experience from the fast-paced worlds of government, politics, and journalism, beginning her career as a reporter covering politics and government.

Janice sat at the executive table in the Houston mayor’s office, where she was relied upon to develop and execute strategy, communications and stakeholder outreach for significant public policy initiatives. Her track record includes working to re-elect former City Controller and Houston Mayor Annise Parker five times.

Since leaving city government in 2017, Janice has led JEvansDavis LLC, a public relations consultancy providing crisis communications, public affairs, and media relations services to corporate, nonprofit, governmental, higher education, and political clients. Her clients include or have included the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association, Union Pacific, Pursuit Center, Houston Community College, Scenic Houston, and Bill King for Mayor.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, and JEvansDavis LLC is certified as a WBE, DBE, SBE, and HUB.
