Jennie Roberts
As managing principal and majority owner of Elmore, Jennie drives the overall firm strategy, ensuring Elmore is positioned to carry forward its strong legacy into an ever-changing future while making sure it remains a place where strong talent can thrive. She oversees the day-to-day business operations of the firm, with a focus on operational effectiveness and continued growth of the agency. This includes Elmore’s business development strategy, helping the firm grow through client acquisition, which has led to more than doubling its revenue in the past five years. Jennie is also deeply committed to supporting Elmore’s team of strategists and specialists, serving as a sounding board, brainstorming partner and problem-solving collaborator to help them do their best work for clients.
Throughout her tenure at Elmore, Jennie has provided strategic marketing and media relations management and counsel to clients across a range of industries, including hospitality, non-profit, healthcare, government, entertainment, and education. Notably, she led for several years and now oversees the publicity efforts for the Nutcracker Market and launched its first influencer campaign. She has supported crisis communications efforts for United Way’s Hurricane Katrina and Rita response, secured editorial placements for Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo run in Houston, and project managed the production of Discovery Green’s inaugural programming guide following the park’s opening in 2008. For five years, Jennie also coordinated logistical details for Central Houston’s Annual Meetings.
Jennie first worked at Elmore from January 2003 through October 2008. Before returning in January 2017, she worked at Service Corporation International (SCI) where she successfully created and managed the national sponsorship for its major brand, the Dignity Memorial network, with the Donate Life Rose Parade Float, and oversaw the implementation of the Life Well Celebrated advertising campaign in the company’s major markets.
Jennie is a graduate of Trinity University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. When away from the office, she enjoys traveling the world and collects lapel pins from each new place she travels.
