
Jennifer Brandino
Jennifer Brandino joined Elmore in March 2019 and currently serves as Elmore’s director of employee relations and engagement as part of the leadership team. In this role, she fosters and infuses Elmore’s culture and core values into all of the firm’s operations. She also serves as a senior communications strategist for Elmore’s Harris County Flood Control District client and select others. A trained facilitator, Jennifer also delivers media training and speaking training for a variety of clients.
With nearly 30 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, and public relations, Jennifer is a seasoned communications professional who brings a balance of big-picture strategic thinking and incredible attention to detail to her work. Her past professional experience includes management roles in a variety of industries, including maritime, economic development, funeral service, K-12 education, and early childhood education. In addition to her work with both corporate and government entities, Jennifer has extensive experience in nonprofit organizations as both a volunteer leader and an employee.
Clients appreciate Jennifer as an excellent listener with keen intuition who is thoughtful and strategic in her recommendations. Her varied experiences; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; and her ability to cultivate lasting relationships make Jennifer a valuable asset to the Elmore team.
Jennifer graduated cum laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and a minor in English. She received her Accredited Business Communicator designation from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) following an extensive portfolio review and examination process. The New Orleans and Houston chapters of IABC have recognized Jennifer’s work with several Bronze Quill Awards, including three Best of Division awards and two Best of Show awards. Her work also has earned recognition from the Houston chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) with both Bronze and Silver Awards.
Her past and present volunteer activities reflect causes close to Jennifer’s heart and include leadership development, literacy, and women’s and children’s issues. Originally from New Orleans, Jennifer loves mysteries, escape rooms, crafting, and crawfish. She is married to a native Houstonian and is most proud of her role as “mom” to their only son.
