Jennifer Jordan was welcomed back to Elmore in March 2022 as Project Director and Senior Communications Strategist, after having previously been with the Elmore team as an Account Manager from May 2005 through January 2008. As Project Director, Jennifer leads internal staff training initiatives, manages relationships with external partners in support of client services, and tackles special projects. In addition, she adds her time and talents to several client teams, including Harris County Flood Control District and Thermal Energy Corporation (TECO). Jennifer brings more than 20 years in communications expertise, rooted by keen business, strategic, and management capabilities. Originally from the Dallas area, Jennifer has now called Houston home for more than 17 years.
Prior to rejoining Elmore, Jennifer advanced through several promotions in a more than decade-long career with Service Corporation International (SCI). Her roles with SCI allowed her to hone her skills in communications, project management, strategy implementation, marketing, development, and product rollout.
Clients and Elmore team members alike appreciate the atmosphere of support, collaboration, and cohesiveness Jennifer brings. A true team player, Jennifer strives to connect with everyone she works with, ensuring each person feels heard, understood, and secure in their roles. A multi-tasking and organization pro, Jennifer has an innate ability to take a task with multiple components, considerations, and moving parts and break it down into a manageable process with clearly defined steps and an achievable path to success.
Jennifer is a graduate of The University of North Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a specialty in Public Relations and a minor in Business Marketing. Jennifer’s past work has been recognized with a Bronze Quill award, and she received a Lone-Star State Emmy for developing a PSA on Shaken Baby Syndrome. While she considers herself a proud Texan, Jennifer does enjoy venturing beyond state lines – whether setting out on a traditional summer road trip or adding a new stamp to her passport. A few of her most memorable expeditions include going on safari in Kenya, seeing the Taj Mahal, paragliding in Colombia, and repelling down waterfalls in Costa Rica. On those more lowkey out of office or weekend days, you can find her hiking, at the park with her two rescue dogs (Cooper and Callie) or visiting her twin nephews.
