In early 2021, Houston Parks Board commissioned a new public art installation at the confluence of White Oak Bayou and Buffalo Bayou. Titled Confluence, the 223-foot mural by artist Jane Kim of Ink Dwell studio tells the 12-month story of Houston’s migratory birds. Central to both the bayou system and downtown Houston, Confluence enriches the experience of cyclists, pedestrians, students, and commuters who pass it daily. Elmore was tasked with leading a dedicated PR campaign to garner publicity for Confluence from announcement to completion.
