Senior Communications Strategist

Stephanie Parker joined Elmore in October 2023 as a Senior Communications Strategist. Her experience directing the strategy and messaging for complex projects is a great asset to our clients, including Kinder Foundation, George & Barbara Bush Foundation, Houston Habitat for Humanity, and others.

Stephanie is known for being detail-oriented, deliberate, and data-driven, and has a knack for the written word. She’s a strong writer who produces content ranging from strategy documents and key messages to press releases and newsletters with ease. She sees the big picture within the details, bringing connection and alignment among messaging and stakeholders.

With more than 16 years of corporate communications experience, Stephanie previously held leadership roles at Mattress Firm, NRG Energy, and Service Corporation International. Internal communications is a special area of expertise, and she is accustomed to collaborating with the c-suite of organizations. The work she led on building and launching an employee intranet and creating and executing a creative engagement plan earned a Gold Stevie® Award for Internal Communications Campaign of the Year in the American Business Awards®—two years in a row!

Stephanie graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. For more than a decade, she’s called Houston home. When she’s not trying a new coffee shop or restaurant, you’ll find her taking a class on the Peloton app, visiting her neighborhood library, or exploring the world. Some of her most memorable trips include a midnight jungle visit in Guatemala, sightseeing in Singapore, and hiking in Maine.
