A letter from Susan Elmore and Jennie Roberts

Dear esteemed clients, partners and friends,
We step into 2026 together with hope and purpose for the year ahead. Elmore’s vision has never been more clear or important: to amplify our client’s voices to maximize impact.
We invite you to consider 2026 the “year of returning.” Returning to your company’s foundational values, purpose, and identity. Refocusing your organization’s communications to create clarity and certainty during uncertain times.
Without a clearly articulated path or vision, it’s easy to get derailed by the chaos around us. Communicating to your internal and external audiences exactly what your organization is trying to accomplish, the path to get there, and the expectations that lie within will maintain the integrity and reliability of your organization in a world ripe with distraction.
This year we’ll be counseling our clients to review and bolster their communications practices. Through an auditing process which includes a review of existing communication processes, an analysis of communications data, discussions around communications and business goals, and, in some cases, feedback from target audiences, we will make recommendations for strategy enhancements moving forward.
The oversaturation of content and information continues to grow, so it’s more important than ever to be able to deliver a clear, succinct message. That’s why we’re also eager to help clients review, improve, and train spokespeople to articulate impactful messaging on behalf of the organization.
As for Elmore’s own 2026 goals?
We embrace and work with the zeitgeist of the times: namely, the ubiquity of AI. We continue to use it as a tool in our toolbox to support productivity and output. However, we maintain that creative communications solutions can only come from the expertise of living, breathing communicators. Your partnership with experienced consultants who understand nuance and context, provide insight, act as sounding boards, and who have a deep understanding of the current cultural, political, and social landscape, will bring significantly greater value than any machine could.
We remain committed to raising the visibility of our expert team through speaking engagements and community events. We hold true to our values and partner with clients who advance causes we care deeply about, like equitable access to high quality housing, healthcare, art and green space. Elmore continues to stand for and foster collaboration between these doers. The entrepreneurial spirit of Texas is strong, and through partnership, good will come.
We are optimistic for the year ahead, together.
Sincerely,
Susan Elmore and Jennie Roberts
